Alleco Stone produces a wide range of aggregate products from its pit in Buckeye, Arizona. The spectrum of materials that we cover varies diversely from construction grade materials such as ABC, washed concrete sand, and rock to specialized sports turf products such as golf course greens mixes, playing field rootzone sands, and drainage gravel. 

        Construction grade materials which include ABC, high volume and low volume chips, M.A., bedding sand, septic rock, washed concrete sand, washed concrete rock, rip rap (in various sizes), mortar sand, plaster sand, engine sand, and fill materials meet specifications for Maricopa County Department of Transportation, as well as Arizona Department of Transportation. These high quality products have been used in County and State Highway projects and on a daily basis Alleco’s sand is used by plaster and mason contractors in nearly every major housing development in the Phoenix area. 

        Landscape products are available in various sizes. These are natural, uncrushed river run stones, commonly referred to as river rock or salt river rock. These cobbles are smooth and rounded from years of water degradation. Their variety of beautiful natural colors makes them ideal for any landscape application. 

        The raw materials used to produce Alleco Stone’s fine sand products are drawn from the western region of the Great Salt and Gila River basins. This western region exists in its natural state providing superior raw material for manufacturing our products. Alleco Stone’s excavation, washing, screening, and dewatering process effectively creates the cleanest and most contaminate free sand in Arizona.

        During the screening process Alleco Stone produces specialized sands to target specific uses, which include concrete sand, masonry sand, plaster sand, engine sand as well as top dressing and rootzone sand for the sports industry. All the sand which Alleco Stone produces meets or exceeds both government and trade organizations specifications.

        Alleco Stone has worked closely with stucco manufacturers and plastering contractors in the Phoenix plastering industry to produce a plaster sand that exceeds normal specification and produces a superior ingredient which improves stucco and plastering finished products.

        Alleco Stone has also worked closely with sport complexes and golf course architects in conjunction with test laboratories to develop a superior sand for use in the construction and top dressing of golf courses and sport complex playing fields.
